Custom Silage & Trucking Services
Barley, wheat, corn and haylage — Cwind Ag Services runs high-capacity, modern forage equipment so your silage gets off the field at the right moisture and into the pile, bag, or bunker without the wait.
What We Do
Book one service or the whole works. Need just a swather, just trucks, or just the chopper? That works. Want it all handled start to finish? That works too. Every job's different — we build the service around yours.
Barley and wheat cereal silage, corn, and haylage — chopped at accurate cut-length with kernel processing for the ration you're after.
Tube bagging for tight, airtight storage with flexible capacity and minimal spoilage.
Tandem trucks and trailer units to move silage, feed, manure or bales — running with our chopper or hired on their own when you just need the tonnage moved.
Laying down your barley, wheat or hay crop into clean, even windrows to wilt to the right moisture ahead of chopping.
On-harvester inoculant to drive a faster, more reliable fermentation and protect dry-matter value.
However You Need It
Some customers want the full run — chopped, hauled, and bagged without lifting a finger. Others just need a swather for an afternoon, a couple trucks to move a pile, or the chopper for a day. Both are good with us. Tell us the job and we'll quote exactly that — nothing you don't need.
Silage Bagging
Bagging seals your silage in a dense, oxygen-free tube right as it comes off the field. It ferments clean, holds its feed value, and waits until you need it — no bunker to build and no big open face going to waste.
Packed dense into a sealed tube the moment it's chopped, forcing out oxygen for a fast, clean fermentation and consistent, palatable feed.
A bag exposes far less silage to air at feedout than an open pile — fewer molds, less spoilage, and more of your tonnage actually eaten.
Each bag holds its own crop, cutting, or quality — bag barley, wheat, corn and haylage on their own and keep every ration consistent.
No bunker to pour and no walls to build. Bag on any firm, well-drained pad and add capacity one bag at a time.
Why Cwind
Late-model machines that show up ready and keep moving — fewer breakdowns, less standing around.
Flexible scheduling and the capacity to get on and off your field at the right time for top feed quality.
Chop, swath, haul, bag — book any single service or the full run. We fit the work to what you actually need, not a fixed package.
Clear quotes, accurate acre/tonnage tracking, and tidy invoicing you can hand straight to the books.
The Iron
Modern, well-kept iron that shows up ready and keeps the tonnage moving.
Flagship 911 HP self-propelled chopper with HydroLoc constant chop length and a DuraCracker kernel processor — built for high-tonnage days.
155 HP self-propelled windrower with Dual-Direction drive — clean, even windrows and quick moves between fields.
3–5 trucks running tandem and trailer units to keep the chopper full and your field clearing fast.
Inoculant Application
Inoculant goes on right at the chopper as your silage is harvested — a measured dose of beneficial bacteria that steers the fermentation instead of leaving it to chance. Protect the feed value you spent all season growing.
The right bacteria drop pH quickly, shutting out spoilage organisms and preserving plant proteins.
A clean fermentation means better dry-matter recovery — more of what you grew survives storage.
With high-stability product, silage resists heating when exposed to air versus untreated.
Palatable, hygienic silage your animals clean up, batch after batch.
Lactic-acid bacteria for a quick, strong fermentation and maximum dry-matter recovery — the workhorse for crops fed in a normal window.
Adds Lactobacillus buchneri to fight heating and spoilage at the open face. Best for bags or bunkers that stay open a long time, hot-weather feedout, or wetter crops.
We typically run Lallemand inoculant and can match the product to what your nutritionist recommends.
Applied right, every ton. Run through a Dohrmann DE-1008.5 Dohrect Enject system mounted on the chopper — precise, low-volume dosing at up to 8.5 tons a minute, with an insulated tank that keeps the bacteria cool and active through a long, hot day. Your last load gets treated as well as your first.
Plastic & Bags
One less thing for you to chase before the season starts. We carry our own silage bags and plastic and roll them right into the job — or, if you'd rather source your own, we'll point you to the right size and supplier so you're not guessing.
